Define a one-to-many dependency between objects so that when one object changes state, all its dependents are notified and updated automatically. 


定义对象间的一对多的依赖关系,当一个对象的状态发生改变时, 所有依赖于它的对象都得到通知并被自动更新。

JDK里提供的observer设计模式的实现由java.util.Observable类和 java.util.Observer接口组成。从名字上可以清楚的看出两者在Observer 设计模式中分别扮演的角色:Observer是观察者角色,Observable是被观察目标(subject)角色。

  • Subject  (Stock)
    • knows its observers. Any number of Observer objects may observe a subject
    • provides an interface for attaching and detaching Observer objects.
  • ConcreteSubject  (IBM)
    • stores state of interest to ConcreteObserver
    • sends a notification to its observers when its state changes
  • Observer  (IInvestor)
    • defines an updating interface for objects that should be notified of changes in a subject.
  • ConcreteObserver  (Investor)
    • maintains a reference to a ConcreteSubject object
    • stores state that should stay consistent with the subject's
    • implements the Observer updating interface to keep its state consistent with the subject's
