Job Title:  Network/System Engineer

Job Description:
Freewheel Media, Inc., a leading Video Adserving company is seeking for System and Network engineers to help build and operate a Global Adserving infrastructure.  Candidate will be part of a global tech team to run a worldwide 24X7 Adserving Network.

Key responsibilities:
• Be part of a global tech team build and operates a 24x7 global Adserving network.
• Advise and implement infrastructure and network needs
• Administrate a global Linux and Cisco environment
• Monitor all infrastructure components, applications and provide emergency response
• Document system/network design and operation procedures.

Minimum Job Requirements / Skills:

Highly motivated individuals with 3+ yrs experience in Linux system administration or Network operation experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required to work on some weekends and be part of "on call" schedule to support a 24X7 Video Adserving Network.

Comfortable in a startup environment with flexible work schedules.

Minimal travel may be required as needed.

Network Engineer:

• Solid Understanding of LAN/WAN network operations

• Possess a good understanding in networking fundamentals, the ISO 7 layer model, and TCP/IP

• Understanding of Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Local Area Network(LAN) data communications systems and protocols.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of the following: Bridging (Spanning Tree), Routing (RIP, OSPF, IGRP), and TCP/IP protocols, Switched Ethernet and VLAN technologies. Serial WAN interfaces,  VPN technologies, Network Firewalls
• Familiar with F5, Citrix, Cisco L4-7 load balancing products is a plus.

System Engineer:

• Expert knowledge in RH Linux, system programming and automate system processes.

• Strong understanding of best practices for software engineering, secure system design and scalable fault tolerant web architecture.

• Knowledge in Apache, LighHTTPD, BIND, LDAP, MYSQL administration.

• Expert knowledge in TCP, NTP, SNMP, SMTP, ARP, HTTP, SSH, RSYNC, SSL, using RH Linux.

• Familiar with monitoring system such as Nagios, Orion, iPmonitor, Netflow Collector.

• Working experience with system automation, task scheduling tool is a big plus.
