解决ubuntu 10.04 nvidia 问题

这两天升级到了ubuntu10.04 苦于安装nvidia的最新驱动
出现以下问题
ERROR: Unable to load the kernel module 'nvidia.ko'.  This happens most
frequently when this kernel module was built against the wrong or
improperly configured kernel sources, with a version of gcc that differs
from the one used to build the target kernel, or if a driver such as
rivafb/nvidiafb is present and prevents the NVIDIA kernel module from
obtaining ownership of the NVIDIA graphics device(s), or NVIDIA GPU
installed in this system is not supported by this NVIDIA Linux graphics

网上找了好久，都是说怎么去编译 ‘nvidia.ko’ 这个东西

我下载了NVIDIA-Linux-x86-195.36.24-pkg1.run

刚开始我是执行sudo sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-195.36.24-pkg1.run遇见以上那个错误

后来我去国外一网站有人说执行
sudo sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-195.36.24-pkg1.run -k $(uname -r)
我就试了一下，果然有效，成功
