Yes, I have tried on WSAD5.0, and it worked ok for me (haven't tested it on WAS). I said it is "same as Websphere", but not meaning that is 100 percent alike, and these two setups almost 90 percent same I believe.
That's true, there is no "public class HibernateStartUp implements T3StartupDef" in Websphere, however, and you don't need it at all in Websphere, 'cause that's just a start up for Weblogic. So in Websphere you will be able to do all initializations in setSessionContext(...) function. Hope that helps. |
